Which one when
Getting around ReykjavíkHopp: park in any public space in the zone, paid ones included.
Bulky luggage or shoppingHopp's ID. Buzz van (3 seats).
Keflavík AirportHopp lets you drive there and back, but a trip cannot end at the airport.
The Golden Circle or the Ring RoadNot Hopp: 24-hour limit, F-roads banned and you can't charge the car.
Between cities and countries
Hopp: you can leave the zone, but the trip must end back in Reykjavík's service area, not in other Hopp towns.
Keflavík Airport: drive there and back if the battery allows; trips cannot end there.
Hopp's terms forbid F-roads, roads without a route number and off-road driving.
Before leaving town, check road notices on umferdin.is or call the road service on 1777.
Parking and fuel
Park in any ordinary public space inside the zone, paid spaces included.
Ending outside the zone costs up to ISK 30,000; illegal parking up to ISK 50,000.
Don't end below 5% battery or under 15 km of range. Up to ISK 50,000.
