Which one when

Between cities and countries

• Kendall Go: round trips. The car goes back to its own bay.
• Turo: pick-up and return as agreed with the host.
• Zimbl: the car may not leave mainland Britain without written consent.

Parking and fuel

• Congestion Charge: £18 a day (£21 if paid within 3 days), 7:00–18:00 on weekdays and 12:00–18:00 at weekends and on bank holidays.
• ULEZ: £12.50 a day for older cars, across all London boroughs, 24/7 (not on the M25 itself).
• With Turo, ask the host whether the car is ULEZ compliant; Turo caps what a host may bill at the Auto Pay amount.
• Kendall Go's fee list includes the Congestion Charge (£18).

Before you go

• Enterprise Car Club, Co Wheels and Hiyacar only accept UK residents. You need a UK address.
• Visitors may drive cars on a full, valid licence from any country for 12 months from their last entry to Great Britain.
• Turo: 21–74, licence held a year, physical card; drivers under 25 pay at least £25 a day.
• Traffic keeps left; at roundabouts, give priority to traffic from your right.

Better than renting here

Be ready for

• Zipcar, the biggest club, closed at the end of 2025; the other big clubs need a UK address.
• Central London: £18 Congestion Charge a day, plus £12.50 ULEZ for older cars.
• No car sharing at any UK airport that we could confirm.
• Traffic keeps left, and at roundabouts priority goes to traffic from the right.
